Purpose
This manual summarizes current policies governing the use of bridge railing in Texas, and it provides information on acceptable Texas bridge railing types.
Supercedes
This 2006-1 version of the manual supersedes the 2005-1 version.
Changes
This revision updates state policy on railing for bridge-class culverts, identifies railings that are acceptable but no longer used for new construction, adds an index, and makes minor editorial corrections.
