The Uniform Electronic Transaction Act (UETA), Business and Commerce Code, Chapter 322, is the Texas law that governs the use of electronic signatures. The Office of General Counsel has determined that electronic approvals authenticated by network logon are satisfactory for internal business processes not otherwise requiring a physical signature.
DocuSign Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) is a web-based application that uses workflow automation for document routing, review, approval, versioning, and storage. Contracts Services Division (CSD) employs this application for contract review collaboration.
